To utilize the ChargingRewards app, the driver must first download it from the Apple store (iOS phones) or the Google Play store (Android phones).
Any driver who has successfully enrolled in a charging program but has not installed the ChargingRewards app will be put on a default charging schedule. Without the app, the driver will not be able to specify what time their EV will be charged to the desired percentage. Until the app is installed and they log in, the driver will receive regular text and email reminders to download the app.
